Where has the summer gone?

I can't believe summer has come and gone and it's already September. Jaxon started kindergarten a couple weeks ago up at American Heritage. He really loves school, he is such a social creature. They have to wear uniforms which is really nice, all the kids look the same, I love it! I thought I would stick pictures of some of the things we have done this summer up today.

We did alot of playing at the park with friends Boating with grandma and grandpa
Spent alot of weekends remodeling the cabin
Kinley is now 6 months and has started on solids, yeah!
Pretending to be the stripling warriors

Roasting marshmallows at the cabin
Going to the Dinosaur MuseumHanging out with cousins. My sister in law came to visit for a couple weeks this summer from Tenessee. Teressa and I did the Jordanelle triathlon together it was really challenging and fun, we are already planning which race to do together next year. I wish we had some pictures but it was just the two of us there. Dave ran the Park City marathon the same day, it was his second marathon and he took more than ten minutes off of last year time. I know he's crazy. Anyway, it was so nice to have family around. This is my mom with all of her grandchildren.
We also did just alot of hanging out and home. With a new baby it makes things a little harder to get out and about, but enjoyed just being together.

Check it out ---->

I got on the computer and was doing my regular routine of checking to see if there were any new posts from my fellow bloggers. I started reading my friend Natalie's blog, it was fabulous. Come to find out that it was her husband Tyson that posted it. I recommend that everyone check it out you won't regret it. It is under my fellow bloggers Tyson and Natalie. So thank you Tyson for such a wonderful reminder that we all so desperately need. (Natalie I hope you don't mind)

Recruiting for next year

Dave finished his second year doing the Ragnar Relay. It is a 178 mile running relay race from Logan to Park City. We are trying to get a team together for next year, we are hoping to have enough for an all girl and an all guy van (maybe husbands and wifes). If your interested let me know. It is June 19th-20th, yes it is all night.
Happy 4th of July!

Check out my Slide Show!

Not much going on

Kinley turned 4 months old, I can't believe how time flies. She is at one of my favorite stages right now. She laughs and smiles and gets really excited but she can't go anywhere.

I cut Taylins hair again a couple of days ago it makes me kind of sad to see all of her curls gone but she hates getting it combed so this is how it has to be.

This is us playing silly tag (like freeze tag but your silly instead) I bet you can't guess who made up this game.

The Salem triathlon has come and gone. It was a very eventful day. It rained and rained and rained. They finally cancelled the bike, which was kind of a bummer. About half of the participants went home, but not me. I stayed and waited it out. It actually turned out to be rather beautiful swim and run. The water was a little chilly but not bad.

Yes, I am eating a yummy boiled egg!

Big weekend

On Friday Jaxon graduated from preschool. I can't believe how big he is getting and kindergarten is only a couple of months away. I must be getting old.
On Saturday was my 4th triathlon (Women of Steel), although it felt like my first. I guess that is the price you pay when you have a baby. Kinley is definetly well worth it. I did however feel like wearing a sign that said, just had a baby 3 months ago to make me feel better about my self, but I didn't. The race was awesome and I was so glad I did it. Nikki had an awesome race she shaved tons of time off of her last race and beat me, I am so proud of her! Less then 3 weeks till our next much longer race, I hope I survive.

Happy Mothers Day!

I had a fabulous Mother's Day! I only wished for one thing and that was a full nights rest. Kinley slept from 10:30 pm to 6:50 am, her longest yet. After I got her fed Dave got up with the kids. I didn't get out of bed until 9:30. I felt like I could have slept all day and into the next but then I would have missed my most favorite holiday.
