Pacific Science Center (Seattle)

The Pacific Science Center is located right next to the Space Needle and has a little bit of everything in it. We didn't' have a ton of time to spend here so we will definitely go there again. We watched a cool IMAX called Antarctic Adventure, it had breathtaking views. One of my other favorite things was the Tropical butterfly house. It was a huge room that you could walk through, full of many different kinds of butterflies. It was very interactive. The kids really loved the dinosaur and creepy crawly exhibits.

Seattle Harbor Tour (Argosy Cruise)

We went on a beautiful tour of Elliot's bay. The skyline from the boat was fabulous.

We also saw lots of Sea lions lounging around.

.We saw two bald eagles perched on top of this ship.

These are some of the worlds largest shipping terminals.

Seattle Aquarium

I am surprised we only got a few photos actually taken inside the aquarium. There were a ton of cool things to see. We even got to see them weigh the giant Pacific Octopus.

Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle)

This Zoo hardly compares to the one in Louisville Kentucky as far as I am concerned but the kids had fun just the same.

The Mitchell Family

Last month Jaxon was suppose to be baptized, my parents even came for the special occasion. However as the Military goes, life is very unpredictable. Dave ended up having to go out to the field for some training so Jaxon's baptism didn't happen. Although Jaxon didn't get baptized that week, the kids and I had a lot of fun while they visited. Also, some very good friends of ours ended up getting baptized that week . My good friend Enma and her daughter Cassandra were baptized by their husband and father, Jarod. It was a really good experience for our family and glad that we could be apart of it.
Here is a picture of the Mitchell family with the missionaries Elder Harris from Orem, Utah and Elder Simons from California.

Jaxon is set to be baptized this coming Saturday 5/14, we are really excited for him.

It's about time

I finally convinced Taylin to let me cut her hair. With swim lessons twice a week and having to be out the door by 7:40, her hair was really suffering.

It turned out a little bit shorter then I had planned but the hours that will be saved will be well worth it. Taylin's hair has got to be at least 10 x thinker then Kinleys, I had to cut it layer after layer after layer and I was even using my new scissors.

Wish me Luck

We have been very fortuante to have Dave around as much as we have this last year. Today he left to do more training for the rest of the month and boy are we going to miss him. Wish me luck with my crazy monkeys. We survived with him gone for six months, so one month shouldn't be so bad, right?
For anyone that is interested in what Dave is training on I found some cool videos on You Tube. Dave is the Platoon leader over a MGS Stryker unit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzi8cBiHfGM or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41CpIA1Jytk

To Cute

My little baby turned 3 last Thursday, I can't believe it. I know everyone says that but really where has the time gone?? Kinley is the spunkiest little girl I have ever met. She has a very strong personality and knows what she wants.
Kinley and I had a little photo shoot for her birthday, there was so many cute photos it was hard to choose my favorite.
She decide the day before her birthday that she wanted a Minnie Mouse cake, hence the weird ear things on the cake. Shortly into making the cake I decided Minnie was a little out of my league, she loved the cake regardless.
